Your cruise line's documents name the terminal for this sailing, and it is assigned per voyage, not per line. If yours says White Bay Cruise Terminal, this is the page for it. If it says Circular Quay (OPT), that terminal has its own page, and the two are not interchangeable on sailing day.
Put the ship's name and the terminal in your booking notes. The driver then plans the approach and the set-down point before the day, not at the kerb.
Getting to White Bay #
White Bay is a road-access terminal in practice. White Bay is not served by a rail station at the gate, and cruise luggage makes a walk-in connection difficult, so plan on arriving by car. Give the driver the terminal name in the booking so the approach and set-down point are planned, not improvised on a sailing morning.
Set-down is at the terminal's designated point, where your line's luggage drop takes the large bags. Keep passports, medication and boarding documents in a bag that stays with you.
Should I fly in on sailing day? #
If you can land the day before, land the day before. A missed flight connection costs you a seat on the next plane; a missed boarding window costs you the cruise. We will happily run a same-day airport-to-wharf transfer, but the risk sits in the flight, not the drive, and no transfer can recover a diverted aircraft.
If it is a same-day run, book it backwards from the boarding window in your documents, not forwards from the landing time. We track the flight, so the driver moves with the actual arrival. Two curfew facts are worth knowing: Sydney Airport at Mascot is closed to flights between 11pm and 6am, while Western Sydney International at Badgerys Creek has no curfew, so from its opening on 25 October 2026 an overnight arrival there is possible. A pickup for it can be requested like any other trip, and trips from 10pm to 5.59am carry a late-night surcharge, shown in the fare before you send the request.
Disembarkation morning: booking the pickup #
Book the pickup against your assigned disembarkation time, not the ship's arrival time. Ships release passengers in groups across a few hours, and the gap between docking and walking off with your bags is the part people underestimate. A whole ship's worth of passengers reaches one kerb inside that window, which is exactly when a pre-booked car is worth more than a taxi rank.
If the ship is delayed, tell us: email bookings@wsitransfers.com.au with the new time. We track flights by flight number; we cannot track a ship. When a same-day flight follows the cruise, leave real margin: we can only collect you as early as the ship lets you off.
Luggage, mobility and the awkward combinations #
Cruise luggage is bigger than airport luggage — the same trip that fitted a sedan on the way out often needs the next vehicle up on the way back. Declare every large bag at booking and the capacity check does the rest; the maxi van seats eleven and takes group luggage in one vehicle rather than a convoy.
A folding manual wheelchair or walker travels stowed, but it takes bag space, so a wheelchair plus a full set of cruise bags usually means a larger vehicle. We do not currently operate a vehicle you can remain seated in your own chair for. If that is what you need, or you are travelling with a powered mobility device, ask through the contact page first and you will get an honest answer instead of a hopeful one.

What if the ship docks late?
Email bookings@wsitransfers.com.au as early as you can with the new time and we move the pickup. Flight tracking is automatic; ship tracking is not, so we work from the time you give us.
Can you take eleven of us plus cruise luggage in one vehicle?
Usually yes — the maxi van seats eleven and is built for group luggage. Declare the real passenger and large-bag count when you book so the capacity check runs honestly. If eleven people are travelling with full cruise luggage rather than carry-on, the booking may recommend a second vehicle, and that is better found now than at the wharf.
