One honest caveat, printed right on the card: carrying six or more large bags costs a seat, taking capacity to six passengers. Declare your real luggage count and the recommendation stays truthful.

Can the people mover carry seven passengers and seven suitcases? #
No. Seven seats come with four large bags and four carry-ons. Past four large bags the vehicle trades a seat for boot space: six large bags at six passengers is the maximum. Seven passengers each with a checked case does not fit — that is a maxi van booking.
This is the number worth reading twice. The seat count on the card is seven. The real figure is seven seats or six bags, never both at once. It is printed on the vehicle card for exactly that reason.
What happens if I have five or six large bags? #
Capacity drops to six passengers. The people mover carries up to six large bags, but only with six people on board — the fifth and sixth bags come out of the seventh seat. Five bags with seven passengers does not work either. Anything past four large bags costs you a seat.
So there are two clean configurations: seven passengers with four large bags and four carry-ons, or six passengers with six large bags. Work out which one you are before you book. Carry-ons are capped at four regardless, so seven passengers cannot each bring a cabin bag as well.
How many child seats fit in the people mover? #
Anchor points run through the vehicle and it takes fitted rear-facing, forward-facing and booster seats, fitted before pickup. NSW law requires an approved restraint for every child under seven. The booking arithmetic is what limits you: each fitted restraint consumes a passenger seat on top of the child's own, so two adults with two children in restraints uses six of the seven seats.
Two adults with three children in restraints comes to eight seats by that count, which is the People Mover XL. Sliding doors are the practical reason families choose this vehicle: you can load a child into a restraint on a tight kerb without swinging a door into traffic or the car parked beside you.
Do two prams fit alongside the luggage? #
Two prams are listed, and that space shares the boot with your suitcases. Two prams plus four large bags together is optimistic. The "pram on board" toggle in the booking flow tells your driver a pram is coming; it does not subtract from your large-bag count automatically, so do that arithmetic yourself before you choose a vehicle.
A working rule with prams: fold and load them last, and treat each full-size pram as taking the place of a large case. Compact travel prams are a different matter — if that is what you have, say so in the booking instructions field so the driver knows what he is loading.
Boot space with the third row up #
With all seven seats occupied, the usable boot is the upright space behind the third row rather than a long flat floor. Four large bags is the honest count in that configuration. Load the tallest rigid cases first and on edge; soft bags fill the gaps around them.
If your load is awkward rather than simply large — a boxed instrument, a folded wheelchair, sports gear — declare it. No vehicle in this fleet is wheelchair accessible; there is no ramp and no hoist, and a folded chair stowed in the boot takes large-bag space away from your suitcases.
When should I book the XL or the maxi van instead? #
Book the People Mover XL if you need an eighth seat — two adults with three children in fitted restraints is the common case. Book the maxi van if you need more than six large bags, seven passengers each with a checked case, more than four carry-ons, or any oversized item such as a golf bag or surfboard.
Do not book the XL expecting more luggage room. It adds a seat and nothing else: four large bags, the same as this vehicle, and no seat-for-bag trade at all. For a group of six with six large suitcases, the standard people mover is the vehicle that fits and the XL is not.

The XL has eight seats but a firm ceiling of four large bags and no trade. More seats does not mean more boot space, and here the smaller-seeming vehicle is the one that fits.
What if we arrive with more bags than we declared?
